A brief note on the prospective sale of artworks during PROOF.

PROOF's sponsoring organization, Public Acts of Art, is currently seeking 501c non-profit status and as such the organizers of PROOF cannot sell art for profit. Artworks on display may be listed as for sale, only all art sales occurring at PROOF must be direct transactions between the artist(s) and the patron(s), and therefore it is strongly recommended that all artists (or their designated representatives) be in attendance and able to meet prospective patrons.

In lieu of any entry fees or commisions on sales, Artists are encouraged to set aside a portion of returns from any artwork sold as a result of exhibition during PROOF as a charitable donation to Public Acts of Art.
